Because there is a perception that the project will be completely canned/stalled due to a funding shortfall. I personally think that the funding will be resolved and this is based on all the info from market announcements. I recently posted what i think is a reasonable Val at this stage with very conservative assumptions - based on the 230 mboe estimate by wood Mackenzie, and using a very conservative spot price, profit margin % and Aussie/us dollar rate, the minimum val for ivz should be around 375 million which is just based on 1 well and not even considering the entire acreage which is enormous. The prospective resource is still over 1 billion boe across multiple drill targets. The biggest risk would be the flow test, if that failed then they would need to move on to the easier drill targets (remember Mukuyu 1 & 2 were considered the more difficult/risky targets so it's great that a discovery actually came from those 2 wells) and we would have to be patient for longer.
