Floating pontoons come to mind...seen it before in the North West...probably be faster than what they have in place.Its been years since i worked there in RMS let alone stayed in the old camps with Air Conditioners louder than the old Fevcos and 777 trucks.Im more curious if the ships captain has a job *?* Im sure he has a lot of questions to be answered by his insurers who S32 would have been on the phone too...the "ACT OF GOD" clause allbeit a shitty name to call a "sub clause" are few & far between, but for example boats in the Suez have it and 2 insurance companies have gone broke in my time of trading commodities and they were very large companies to keep paying for "TIME LOST" SO TO SPEAK.In a strange turn of events, S32 could come out of this with money in its pockets, if not in this QTR but a few down the line with insurance payouts in time and lost income in the millions.I have tried to look up the ships name to do more research on it as it would not be too hard to find out the insurer.Ive looked up ANIKITOS, INVESTIGATOR II AND YIMENDA but come up with blanks on Insurance back grounds.Not to sure about the nearest deep water berth area for a pontoon reach.
