Actuslly Sika, I'm big in cash, lots of it, no debt and a line of credit I can draw on because when this pops there'll be the usual marriage break-ups and fire sales and I'll be like the vulture hanging around nearby to pick the bones.
Where I am at the moment there was a documentary last night called "Mind Over Money", a history of speculative manias.
In experiments university students were given money and assets to manage in a bubble, they all ended up with....nothing. They all thought they could get out in time but when liquidity dried up prices dropped to zero.
Traders known as 'quants' are using recently developed mathematical formulae to avoid bubbles but Robert Schiller and Jeremy Grantham rubbished the idea and said human folly and irrational behaviour will always overcome mathematics.
