BRN doesn't even need a major contract to keep me happy. Any announcement that any old sensor maker that has connected a vibration and sound and lidar sensor to an akida1500 with plans to move to the Akida2 would be a major confidence boost. The logic of some old sensor maker demanding to hide behind an NDA seems ludicous. And if a deal isn't being hidden by an NDA, we are told that any deal between a current licensee and a sensor maker, is none of our (BRN's) business and we so can not report it. This just doesn't seem right.
If sensor makers want a delay in reporting, that could be a compomise ie the NDA expires after 12 months.
We are constantly being told that the way to get clients is to obey this seeminly fictional request that no one must know if any sensor maker is working with us in a material way. But wouldn't the opposite be closer to reality? Better to ask any sensor maker to help BRN (a lot) if they could announce that they are making an akida based sensor with an expected release date.
The real issue is one of trust which is running out, and Sean needs to tell us that NDA's can no longer be used to indefinitely hide work in progrress. Unless there is a breakthrough like this, some of the less motivated on the board who don't seem to be focused on sales accountability must go.
