In brief, to reply to your point, these "old sensor makers" are not the current market target. Brainchip need to supply technical assistance and expertise to companies attempting develop chips using their IP and Brainchip have limited resources for supplying that technical expertise.
It has been stated several times previously, that they are working at capacity to provide this support and have had to be picky with who they work with, prioritising what they see as large clients.
This is how the business works. You cant just go licensing it out to whoever wants to sign a licence. You still have to provide integration support which is where our operating costs are.
