Does there need to be a crash in financial markets though? It's fairly evident now that the economy is in the toilet and the market is still flying, can it hold out until the QE comes, everyone knows it's coming.
Or is it the case that one shock event will spook the market as a whole, i.e. bank disaster that leads to the crash.
Trend following is way easier than trying to work all this out!
