Well I just drove my PHEV from Townsville to Cairns. No probs. I’ve been driving it on EV to date and charging at home. Wonderful drive and easy charge at the end on the charger at the Pier car park near my apartment. If you put the destination in the Nav, it calculates to use the full battery capacity over the journey so you arrive with near zero%. Went into apartment, couple of bevvies while charging and $4.38 later (30c kWh) battery topped up for EV mode tomorrow. Couldn’t be happier and there is no going back. Next one will be fully EV.
