    AFAIK it is one trade being met by multiple orders on the other side.
    Eg. A buy order for 10,000 shares soaks up several sell orders that are for lower volumes, say 2000 + 1000 + 5000 + 2000.
    That would show as “4 trades” with consecutive trade numbers.
    I’ve noticed this when my orders have been executed and I look at the “trades” that are immediately listed.
    The other (rare) possibility is two seperate trades being so closely timed that they are actually consecutive within the entire asx trading action…? Very rare imo considering the overall trading frequency across all stocks!
