"Climate catastrophists think that hot weather and wild weather never happened before"
Is a Climate Catastrophist different to a climate scientist? I dont think the scientists claim that hot weather, or wild weather never existed pre industrial revolution, or pre 1950 etc. Its the rate, and the severity.
We are seeing more warmer days, longer heatwaves, more severe heatwaves etc etc. Claiming that record temperatures existed in the past is a bit of an odd argument.
To illustrate the point, I made this mock graph, you'd be ridiculous to claim there's no warming trend, or whatever simply because there is an a much warmer temperature back in the past. We do see short term variations, but they're exactly that, short term, so of course we see fluctuations, but what is the overall trend? Warming!
