What do you think of Putin's public response and unsupported claims in his outright dismissal of the intelligence information he was provided by the US prior to the attack in terms of the longstanding "duty to warn" ? ie that the US advised Russian authorities they were 'monitoring reports that extremists have imminent plans to target large gatherings in Moscow, including concerts."
One is left to wonder whether Putin would honour the longstanding "duty to warn" had the boot been on the other foot ?
Putin responded by saying this was "provocative" and “these actions resemble outright blackmail and the intention to intimidate and destabilize our society.”
His own worst enemy ? Maybe his War on Ukraine is starting to take its toll on him ?
