Power use has often been mentioned on this forum…
A quick google suggests that DRAM really doesn’t use all that much - eg one source says 16gb uses 6W, another that 256gb uses up to 26W.
I think it was @Brentb who was recently posting about how little power DRAM uses compared to the CPU.
So it would seem that energy saving probably isn’t a major potential selling point for 4DS - though obviously even a little energy saving on a big enough scale is beneficial.
