For England, the Royal Family is vital. It is a life source for them. It would sort of be like the President of the US etc.. These are not just important leaders, influential people etc, but vital for stability, pride, nation etc. I really do believe they would try whatever they could, and not because of status but because of the people.
Then again, I could be wrong. We mere mortals only get to find out much later. I wish her and their family all the best.
