Nice analogy - these ordinary assets are overpriced - lipstick works in a bull market, but we are not in a bull market for gold miners.
RED5 has the critical infrastructure (with its KOTH mill, which is so close to key GMD assets especially Gwalia) which could synergise very well with GMD and its perceived "Midas management" advantage (?)
If the RED-SLR merger completes, then the rationalisation of the Leonora district, that GMD needs to justify its lofty SP wont happen.
Ralph has another 8 weeks to make a bid (which wouldn't require further diligence, as he knows KOTH very well).
