What happened today was the tabling of numerous amendments by the Greens and Teals.... a number of amendments had to be voted down and finally Tony Burke called an end to the 2nd debate... now I am not too confident in what happens next but I think it is the final stage of debate tomorrow before the govt and Libs vote to pass it to the Senate. And in the Senate it should again pass without a problem as long as Libs and Govt vote for it. I think they are trying to pass this bill through both houses by 27th March.
