World's leading "super-power" violated Geneva Accords on more than one occasion without any repercussions whatsoever.
They set the precedent. They demonstrated to the whole world that Geneva Accords doesn't mean diddly squat in reality.
Same with UN resolutions.
Nobody cares. It's not good, but that's the reality.
