Perhaps he was sadened by the war - I think it was a better response than the giggling gerty show.
And this is all starting to look more and more like it was just a big distraction by labor so no-one would notice that Rudd was missing from an important foreign ministeral event.
We are all just starting to be alerted now to the fact that Rudd was the only Foreign Minister missing. It looks pretty sus that labor caused this storm in a tea cup in the first place as a planned distraction.
