re: 25 ceramic fuel cells in newcastle!

In trying to get a clear understanding of this project I followed the references back to an Australian Government release called "smart-grid-factsheet" put out by the Department of Climate Change and Energy Efficiency found at this URL -

Inter Alia, the fact sheet contains the statement "About ten percent of the electricity generated at the power station can be lost on the way to the home ". I was under the impression that the loss is a much higher proportion than 10% - Is my impression incorrect ?
