My point is that @Sdaji is correct. If the Stage 1 Pilot Plant had "achieved its purpose", it would be operating right now, delivering up to 500tpa into an off take contract with Mitsubishi (or someone else). That would've been pretty handy right now as it would have generated some significant capital during the boom times. You can pretend that the Stage 1 Pilot Plant was there simply for validation of BG grade production, but AGY's own releases prove that's bullish*t mate.

They repeatedly outlined their intent for ongoing product sales from the Stage 1 plant, but JZ didn't lock in a customer. Therefore the pilot plant didn't do what it was supposed to do.
