Good post Welkin31.
I would go further and suggest there are many similarities to the way TLS was a few years ago.
It is a monopoly.
It is largely unregulated.
It depends on products that are out of touch with the times.
So the silent catch-phrase of the pollies is,......"lets unload it on to an unsophisticated public while the going is good."
Then a year or two forward. We might see the fruits of the Labor/Greens alliance,......big taxes on coal, reduced rail haulage, heavier regulation , and maybe even some competition from farmers/miners.And this is before all the union strife errupts, as it will because QRN is overstaffed and full of expensive outdated workpractises.
Like the original TLS float, this will suck in a lot of the so called mums and dads.
I wont be applying for shares.
