There you have it folks, ASIC is so obdurate,it can give the 'fingers' to thissenate committee.No bloody wonder this end of the market is a white collarcriminal paradise. I strongly recommend posters send a message to the membersof the committee asking what they intend to do about it.
On 27 October 2022, the Senate referred an inquiry into the capacity andcapability of the Australian Securities and Investments Commission to undertakeproportionate investigation and enforcement action arising from reports ofalleged misconduct to the Senate Economics References Committee (the Committee)for report by the last sitting day in June 2024.
You have until then to make your views known.
It looks as if nothing will happen unless the Senate, per se 'orders' ASIC tocome clean. I reckon ASIC [De Longo] has plenty to hide.Otherwise why notcooperate fully from the word go?
