Hi @Tigers2021
I last replied to you when you had asked why I am buying oppies.
.
As you can see, I usually don't reply to these type of posts, but I have known you for over 3 years on AZL threads, so always feel that connection.
.
Recently I saw some increase in your posts, along with increase in posts by a number of other characters, so thought of taking liberty to reply.
.
I checked your last 15 posts. Half of them are on AZL. Rest are on 3 stocks- KAI/MKG/AVL. What is common between these 3 stocks? Of course, you, but another important connection - All 3 have been smashed and are really struggling, and most who may have held for sometime, must be on a decent loss. I am not assuming that you are, but odds speak of that.
.
So why am I writing about your stocks, especially when they don't look like doing well? I can honestly tell you, its not about taking a shot on you, or making you feel bad, etc. I am using it as an example, hope you don't mind it.
.
I do post across a number of threads, and read Hot Copper posts seven days a week, for hours. In each stock there will be some regular people who will not be holding but when share price drops, they will do a lot of shouting, make a lot of fun etc. I am assuming that they do it for their self gratification.
.
But do you know what is common between all those posters across so many threads who do that type of posts, and we could include AZL as well? Most of them are losers. Either they have lost big in that stock. Or the stocks they are holding is not doing great, and losers there. So why do they come post on other stocks? Once you are a loser, you don't have much left. Those people have a miserable status. For them, there is only one way of getting some solace - when they can see that others are losing. In the process, they forget about stocks they are holding, which are big losers. One thing is obvious they are not good in stock market, because instead of finding ways to win, their attention is focussed on getting some small gratification in trying to ridicule others and shouting all the time. They also want attention, because that also provides some meaning to their miserable position. Rarely, and I mean it, rarely I have seen people who are doing well in stocks (based on their history) doing this type of activity. There will be few, but most are losers.
.
So how do we deal with losers who keep on popping for their gratification? It seems a similar situation, say when you are travelling in train. There could be a guy sitting, shouting, probably drunk. Sometimes shouting on other passenger, sometimes on you, but mostly it may not be anyone particular - they are just shouting. Who are these people who shout in trains etc? Are they winners or losers? Do you think someone who is doing great in life would be doing that? So mostly it will be losers, having some miserable time. And why do they shout? Hoping they can make other people's life miserable. Or they are doing to get attention, to have some gratification in life. So see the similarity between that person and those type of posters? So what do we do in the train? Do you start fight with them, or just ignore them, as whatever they are saying does not make sense. The more you engage with them, chances are you will get miserable as well. So best to ignore. And get down at your destination, and forget about it. I use the same principles, hence don't reply to those that type of posts.
.So how does one feel about that person in train, or those posters? Some may feel irritated, others get angry, a few start engaging, and some feel sympathy for them. I feel sympathy because I can understand why they are doing it, after reaching a miserable state. Hence I still feel for them, even though I don't like it.
.
So I think one should look at stocks they are holding and try to do the best over there. There are thousands of stocks, not all are losers. Or they are not losers all the time. Spending time and managing that may be more fruitful. I know you are a good man, have read your posts for 3 years, hence I am writing. There are many others who post here, who are similar to the person on the train, I usually ignore - once in a while I may write. I really wish you do well in your stock trading. All the best.
