Software replaced filing cabinets in 1980s
Neither can automate. It definitely boosted productivity and cost savings over time from the 80s. It hyper accelerated productivity and cost savings from 1995 onwards as internet became mainstream.
We are talking about a total different kettle of fish. This is automation and yes albeit complex this isnt software its an algorithm that learns over time with a reward structure. Software doesn't go through training to learn - Gen A.I absolute necessity. So like the 1980s where software replaced filing cabinets it will happen again only this time the adoption will be at warp speed 5 imo.
