The way I read it is that the focus of ADO is on the EV market and most of the research is to meet that demand and specs.
Now that they have a paid for grant they can cross over the tech to consumer electronics specs.
"The Project will include product development, market acceptance testing, technology refinement and scale-up"
I would say the deal time is much less as the foundations are all in place.
The doors are now open for two huge markets.
