When it was GGG, the company agreed that if, at some time in future, the GoG decided it did not want GGG to exploit uranium, then there would be no compensation. Exploiting rare earths was not a problem.
Then the GoG suddenly slapped down the 100ppm uranium limit, even though GGG was not intending to exploit uranium. So their plans to exploit rare earth were suddenly stuffed by an event that had nothing to do with the earlier agreement.
That ruining 100ppm limit will I guess figure large in ETM's arguments for compensation in the "silly case".
