The problem here is that if confidence in management is in the toilet right now (only one of two explanations for sp drop) then any potential bounce on positive news would be stifled. If the sp holds at circa 8c, then even a 100% bounce brings it up to 16c. That is still crap.
Good management would come out and try and protect the sp's continuous fall. There are a lot of things that can be spinned in the media to give the market some confidence back. Sure, they can't go into detail about the back room deals with the epa or the rehab trials but they can communicate to the market about the processes going forward, the build plans etc etc. It's continuous feed of info that is needed to ensure investors are satisfied that management knows what they are doing. The anns don't have to be long, boring wordy things - they just need to be savvy like some of the tech companies.
I'm no spin doctor but geez, this lot are bad, really bad. Congrutalations all those voters who didn't go the second strike a few years back!
At minimum, all investors should email vrx with a please explain re the sp tumble.
