There are many possible options for the future. The take over of PCL by Woodside should be just one scenario in the playbook.
I think a major from the neighbourhood and already active in Namibia like Chevron, Shell, Total, Exxon could be interested to get a share of Saturn. But I assume that these majors want to become the operator of Saturn when they invest in Saturn. That would mean this possible suspect would buy out PCL plus a farmin from Woodside. But this is just another optional and possible scenario for the future.
Another one: perhaps Qatar Energy buys PCL and is happy to become the non operating partner of Woodside?
Or another unknown option? Like PCL merges with one of the smaller players like Africa Oil , Sintana to become an oil producing heavyweight in Namibia Offshore ? Or the Namibian state oil company wants to grow and takes over PCL?
