No, you provided an example of a project in an unrelated industry (copper) taking a long time, because it suited your argument to show a five year permitting delay, rather than a one year permitting process in Salta for a comparable lithium project.
Canada has a known lengthy permitting process because they are meticulous with environmental permitting. That's the price you pay for better ESG credentials, stable governance, proximity to vehicle manufacturers/gigafactories and much lower jurisdictional risk. Argentina has none of those things, but still has lengthy permitting times for select operations who can't get their act together, like AGY.
