Firstly: GM, Ford and Tesla make most of their Money from the Chinese market. Ford and GM with ICE cars and Tesla with EV. For EU, its Mercedes, BMW, Volvo, Audi - they make most of their money from China.

Secondly, as EV cars are now much cheaper - in some cases, cheaper than ICE cars, it make them affordable and cheaper to run, to an average person in Mexico, Brazil, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and others to buy them.

There are more than 7 billion people living outside the US and EU.

Here is an example of EV cars taking off outside the US and EU market.

Note, there are more people living in South East Asia than the whole of US and EU combined.

You should travel a bit more - maybe then, you will realize the world does not revolve around the EU and US markets anymore.
