Spot on - somewhat a big yawn this repetitive whinging about “done over a park bench” and being rinsed by CE on the NWE Refugees thread etc etc. (declaring I owned MIN & NWE at time of offer) and accepted business is business at the time.
we owe zero to anyone for doing smart deals. I guess some expect compo for being on a losing side of a deal. There are generally winners and losers in a M & A transaction. S I M P L E
in the meantime long term holders who accumulate MIN wisely will sit back in 2 years time wondering what the fuss was about when SP drifts past $150 & the dividends have reverted to 4.5% + at a steady 100% FF along the way.
CE can cop all the cheap shots while he builds a company WITHOUT tapping shareholders with a single Capital Raise in the last 10 years. GOLD MEDAL for smarts whilst the critics will still struggle with an IQ that should be left on a casino table in a cafe in Cuba - pick & stick here and financial success will follow.
