This is the nub of the “problem”…..the hatred is the direct cause of Israel’s very existence, which came about through “Zionist activities”.
What he’s doing by making the above-quoted statement is saying Israel should not exist….i.e. that Jews should not be there. He’s also ignoring the historical fact of 2,000 years of hatred of Jews, wherever they were…a hatred that still exists and would have existed even if Israel did not exist.
He is outing himself as a plain old anti-Semite
(or Jew-hater, my preferred term), one of those who believe they have the right to tell Jews where they can and can’t live, what professions they can and can’t engage in, and who believe that Jews don’t have the right to defend themselves when they’re attacked.
His comment ignores the fact that so many other Middle East states were created around the same time as Usrael was, yet no-one claims any of those are the cause of problems….no, only Israel’s creation caused problems.
