Reading on livewire that IDX is likely to be takeover target in the near future. It is attractive largely due to that is trading at only 8 x FY25 estimated EBITDA.
For comparison, CAJ trades at 5.2 x FY24 estimated EBITDA, carries far less debt, pays a better divvy and in my opinion has better management team.
CAJ is a frustrating stock to own but it represents great value at these levels. If the transaction price in the Digital imaging space is 10 x EBITDA it would suggest CAJ is a $480m company or 45 cents per share.
