When we compare the price chart of gold to gdx we can see gdx has underperform against gold since the covid lows. Maybe that is about to change as gdx is about to print a double bottom and some large laggard gold stocks (barrick and newmont) in the gdx has already printed a short term reversal pattern which can reverse the down trend of the gdx.
