Yep, Novonix produces synthetic graphite and gets the prize. Meanwhile, the EU classifies synthetic graphite as a "critical raw material". The ICCP continues to classify China's burgeoning co2 emissions as "not relevant" until 2030.
At the same time, the CCP underwrites loss making entities in China so that they continue to provide EV manufacturers with cheap battery materials so they can undercut the rest of the global manufacturers. Yep, ESG and self-flagellation is working really well.
This is all about brutal economics and Syrah is a major casualty. It simply can't compete without more handouts. All thanks to the ICCP and its myriad drones. Verner should, at the least, be more vocal. Cheers Keith
