Unless you have more money than sense, (and we have seen plenty of evidence of that here), few are going to pull the trigger and buy an EV if the risk of another price cut is going to happen in the foreseeable future. Nobody wants their resale value (EVs are already worse than ICE) to be cut even more a few months later.
That's the dilemma the article raised, in case you're a bit slow.
And how long will it take for consumers to be confident they're not about to be screwed over. Again.
It could take years to fix the EV reputational damage.
A fool and their money are soon parted.
