Everybody is looking out for their own interest - including the top 20. Just like you and those "alleged" shorters. The simple fact is, everyone is in it to make $$$$$$$$

There is NO White Knight around the corner.

If you are NOT buying the "Shortfall", the Top 20 certainly won't be buying the Shortfall.

The "Directors" could. But have they bought any of the Rights Issue and subsequent "Shortfall"????? Thus far, NOTHING!!!

In any case, every Tom, Dick and Harry, know what is the problem with this company; NOT enough Funds to carry through the next stages of tests.

Now, to expect Zimbabwe Sovereign Wealth Fund or Gov to step in and fund this, is bordering on delusion for the following reasons:

1. They (Zimbabwean) are in the box seat - they will get the majority of the share, regardless of which company extracts it (assuming there is a resource there); in truth, they probably prefer a Big O&G player than a minor which is struggling from year to year and relying on funding from their own shareholders to progress, and

2. Zimbabwe is a poor country with high inflation. So to expect them to risk their sovereign wealth fund for a "minor" player in the O&G industry, is crazy. The Opposition party would rip the current Gov to shreds if they risked their sovereign wealth fund at this stage.

That leaves a New JV partner buying in. But the Lab will need to release some spectacular results (next set of data) to attract a Big O&G player with deep pockets; which seem unlikely at the moment.

Bottom line: shareholders and institutions will be tapped again after June 2024, IMHO. That is what the market is expecting and why the share price is where it is.
