Are you ready for the WHOLE truth, well there is more, but you have trouble with TOOOOO much truth.

    "Wotsup,
Previously you failed to identify who the advocate, the Holy Spirit was advocating to.
You say the Holy Spirit is the Father so is he advocating on your behalf, talking to himself or is there a greater God who he is advocating to?"

Once yet again Tonio, you're lying, I failed no such thing.
You clearly demonstrate your delusions, by Not understanding the meaning of the advocate, comforter, a consoler, aid subject.
Is your brain kicking in to gear here, as to the context of the "advocate" meaning????????????

As Jesus was to be leaving, he said he would ask the father for another -> advocate, comforter, a consoler, aid.
The another is to replace Jesus you silly man, so the advocating, comforting will be coming from the Father to the people, just as the OT and NT shows, that the God and Father will be teaching all.
The advocate is NOT advocating to the greater God, you silly one.

Not only would Jesus be leaving, but the Spirit of Truth = the Holy Spirit = the Father dwelling in Jesus = Emmanuel, God dwelling with us in Jesus, the Temple, as he was Never called Emmanuel, hence Emmanuel has to be a prophesy, as show here.

And 1 & 2 Cor makes it very clear, that the God and Father and the Holy Spirit, are interchanged, one in the same, dwelling in our or should I say God's Temple, as all are not his Temples, or they have other gods in them.

Following was my answer to you, which clearly flew over your Cookoo's nest.

    "Wrong again Wotsup,

You have stated correctly that the Holy Spirit is the Advocate.
If the Advocate is the Father who is the greater God that he advocates to, on your behalf?
The Father advocating to himself is just plain silly."

OH boy, has 2 Thes 2:11 well and truly got a hold of you.
14:16 I will ask the Father, and another helper (comforter, a consoler, aid) He will give you. (replacing Jesus)
"Another" = to replace Jesus who would be leaving, who was their comforter etc while here.
So the comforting etc silly man, is to the people and NOT to a greater God who will do the comforting, where have you gotten this hair brain idea from, Father advocating to himself and not to the people, hmmmmm rolleyes.png

The comforter etc, is the Spirit of truth, who the Bible says glorified Jesus, and we know that was the Father, just as we know that the Holy Spirit is Jesus's Father, as Luke unquestionably shows, well.................to THOSE of God.

So Tonio, WHAT part of that simple post, that you falsely claim I didn't address your point, flew by you????

    "John 16:13-14
Above has the Holy Spirit not speaking on his own authority.
If the Holy Spirit is the Father, who is this authority that tells the Father what to speak?"

By Jo, you're certainly showing that you're not up to speed, re the Comforter, Spirit of truth subject.

Now pay attention to the following, Lights on.
16:13,14 - Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

Now lights on, pay attention -> following smacks it in your face (well,...for those of the True God) WHY he's not speaking of himself, and who he hears what he speaks, from = Jesus.

14 - He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine (words), and shall shew it unto you.
So silly man, he is speaking from what he heard from Jesus.

14:26 - But the Helper, the Holy Spirit (Father), whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.

The God and Father, the Holy Spirit, gives of himself, to whatever measure he choses, to aid you in his word and to preach it.
John 3:34 - For He whom God sent speaks the words of God; for (because Luke 4:18) He does not give the Spirit sparingly.

John 6:45 - It is written in the prophets, ‘And they shall all be taught by God.’ Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me.
(Jesus, independently of himself, defines this God as the only true God and Father in John 17:3 and you cannot refute this with Bible truth).

Isa 54:13 - Then all your sons will be taught by Yehowah, and great will be their prosperity.
(Hear, Israel: Yehowah our God is ONE Yehowah and we know he is the Father).
Jer 31:34 - No longer will each man teach his neighbor or his brother, saying, 'Know Yehowah,' because they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest, declares Yehowah. For I will forgive their iniquities and will remember their sins no more.

Are you getting that Tonio, we do NOT need your forefathers creations?

2 Cor 6:16 - And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell in them And walk among them. I will be their God, And they shall be My people.

1 Cor 6:19 - Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?
John 14:17 - the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.

The God and Father as shown above is the one dwelling in the Temple and the second Cor reference, is NOT speaking of another, as in another person the Holy Spirit, independent of the God and Father, dwelling in ones Temple
Hence Paul here, clearly interchanges God and the Holy Spirit, as they are one in the same = Father, Yehowah.

    JESUS IS CLEARLY NOT REFERENCED IN THESE TWO COR REFEERENCES ABOVE, BUT NEVER THE LESS;
John 14:23 - Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

Hence, Jesus confirms that the Father, as per the 1 & 2 Cor above, will be dwelling in ones Temple.

JESUS, JUST AS HE MAKES NO REFERENCE TO THE HOLY SPIRIT, IN JOHN 17:3, AS IN HAVING TO KNOW ANOTHER PERSON, BESIDES HIM AND THE FATHER, FOR ETERNAL LIFE, MAKES ZERO REFERENCE AS WELL, THAT THIS CREATED god a holy spirit, INDEPENDENT OF HIM AND THE FATHER, WILL ALSO MAKE IT'S ABODE WITH YOU.
Because, there is no such thing.
