I'm in a similar situation, with settlement due in a fortnight or so.
A few cents difference is negligible when looking at a sp rerating by $1 in the context of 100,000 shares. More than happy to pay the extra bit because I don't know what the very near future can bring. Nitpicking over the sp takes time and may cause me to miss the boat's sudden departure Of course, the sp will not soar overnight just because I bought more. The rerating is likely to take 6-12 months, but that's ok cos I'm the time-in-the-market type of investor.
Also looking at excellent alternatives to ARL just in case their sp move upwards much earlier than ARL's. I like Giovanni's suggestion of Sybella but the dwindling cash, impending cr, and high cash burn make me hesitate. Too many highly prospective tenements can also be unbeneficially distracting.
Lake Johnston WA seems to be the next hotspot. First there was POS, Minres got involved, plus RIO and a host of juniors clamouring for tenements over there. They've gone Li-mad. Be fearful when the market is brave. I'll heed Warren Buffet's advice here.
Then there's Leliyn, which is my counter-suggestion to Sybella. Be brave when the market is fearful, again heeding Warren's advice.
