Kind of but there is nothing wrong with averaging up in the right circumstances especially after a good results report.
The other thing is don't be too hard on mangement for overpaying for Saverglass. They had to to buy the business at the time it became available.
One should have been aware of that at the time of the $2.70 rights issue. Now you can buy the shares at over a 15% discount to that which takes some of the hot air out.
