In my opinion the fall to 4c was more of a mystery than the recent rise. I suspect a lot of the price action since the 9th Feb uptick in volume has been a larger player working the price to accumulate as cheaply as possible.
As mentioned before, XAM seems to be a leaky ship on the news front, so that may be contrbuting, but with copper and gold both heading up and a lot of bullish talk around the supply and demand side of copper going forward...
Macro (tick), funding (tick), near term catalysts (tick), board with a good track record (tick), major backer/JV (tick).
XAM is barely getting started, even if the deep drilling fails to deliver, a solid PFS is only months away, and looks likely to drop during a copper bull frenzy. Short of a black swan event this is looking very, very good.
