cheers cappie. its safe places for women escaping that is often impacted by budget cuts. its programs to help men who realise they need to change and for women. its training for teachers and other professionals to recognise when families are in trouble, funding keeps changing. they need certainty to employ staff and paid professionals.
research is what woke me up to my own shyte. back in. the 80s. more interesting is the people who went to the bin for offences that some I've known would consider normal. attitudes such as these aren't common but its the casual comments of many others I've known, including my own as a young un, were pretty shocking too when considering the consequences.
