I dont think they had any choice but to go exclusive with TXT as already alot of time and money was expended developing that relationship. To start grandstanding now in negotiations would have put TZL back a year or two.
This agreement is win/win for both sides.

Just remember guys, alot has been hanging off this agreement to be signed. Im sure over the last 2 months they have been working on stiching chip/software co's. These third parties were probably sitting on the sidelines waiting for the ink to dry.

Still no news on US acquisitions. Perhaps todays announcement may speed up this transaction as Im sure everyone is desperate to get as much designs made up for the production process.
