Remember though that they pointed out that they would have to pay capital gains tax. So after 30% tax works out at maybe $9.5m (that is before whatever fees to the lawyers, underwriters, tax, financial advisors that helped guide them through this mess).
The bigger issue though for ABB is the loss of the Origin contract and almost $300m in market cap since announcing its intention to try and acquire Superloop.
