Ive read the ann a few times now and I still can't see how this is a great deal for IXR. To me it reads as IXR are now allowed the opportunity to buy MREC for VMM but its not exclusive rights to it. In return IXR give VMM half the refining business for almost the whole world.
Also its a bit of a different stratergy than what was on IXR's "refinery" page on the website. They said the refinery would be IXR controlled and it would be seperating the Makuutu basket. Not half IXR controlled seperating a Brazillian basket.
Am I missing something? I feel there is a lot of support for this JV but the benifits for IXR seem to be going over my head.
