People still fail to realise that a big driver of demand for EVs is not environmental concerns or even cost savings (though these are quite significant given no fuel costs and very little if any maintenance required), but the big driver is comfort, convenience and enjoyment. They're very fun to drive, you can charge at home rather than needing to take it to a petrol station every week and they are incredibly quiet (which is nice on a long drive)
I think people also fail to realise that Tesla's aren't the only option, BMW make some beautiful electric vehicles as well. Have a drive in the new i5 it's a stunner
