As can be seen from the attitudes toward women from the majority of posters in here there's a lot of work to be done. I certainly wouldn't want a woman tradie to work on a large construction site, my god she would cop heaps sadly. Should be much better in mining, housing or service type work. The overall percentages of kids doing apprenticeships needs to be addressed. Going back to the old way of accepting kids from 10th grade might have to be looked at. It would also give kids of 16 or 17 a purpose and might help to reduce the crime as well.
