the sinister and insidious Socialist agenda is now becoming apparent and well-entrenched in Victorian politics as well. (And Gillard worked for Brumby at one stage).
Very much aligned with the current Brumby Labor Government, the Police Commissioner is now defending the shady manoeuvres within the AFL hierarchy, who are asking (have asked?) Police HQ to hand over personal/confidential official Police files on certain players. A private entity asking for official police files in orivate citizens to be handed over???? And Brumby sees nothing wrong with it?
There are also phone tapping allegations relative to this situation with regard to Police/Journalists, etc. with many private citizens phone records already having being handed over for perusal.
Funny eh? NO big media stinks about the above - well, one or two journos have taken it up, but it is quickly quelled by Brumby and the Police Commissioner et al, and explained away - as are most of Brumby's (and Gillard's) attacks on our democracy.
Yet, if Abbott or any other prominent Liberal has a fly land on their nose, there is major uproar!! And the dissection in the Press of this trifling event goes on for weeks - with Gillard, Swan, or her ex boyfriend Craig Emerson usually putting their oar in. (I know it is, after all, Abbott's fault that a fly landed on his nose!) But still - fair suck of the sauce bottle!
On this disgraceful scandal of a so-called Carbon Tax "Committee":-
Gillard has never had ANY voter mandate for this farcical Committee on Carbon Tax! The incompetents sitting holding hands with her are NOT in Government (i.e. Windsor, Oakshott, and Wilkie, yet they now get to decided our financial futures!) we had no warning of this! She deliberately lied to us many times pre-election and assured us "No Carbon Tax". Now her own position was threatened, to save herself she goes ahead with this rag-tag shambles of unelected people (NOT Labor Party members) who'll placate her ambitions by coming to the conclusion she's already come to herself anyway.
Gillard is now a political/physcological prisoner of Bob Brown and must do HIS bidding. Simple as that! Brown could well be the most dangerous/powerful man in Australia at this stage. HE WAS NOT ELECTED TO THIS POSITION - NOR WAS HIS PARTY, WHO GAINED MINISCULE VOTES COMPARITIVELY!!
Meanwhile, the current government has been the worst since World War 11 - completely incompetent and reckless with their off the cuff ill thought out gross over-spending. No one has brought them to account for their pink batts, BER, no costing analysis of the crazy NBN scheme being forced down our throats, etc.
Our democratic rights are going down the drain fast! We HAVE to speak up beyond the confines of this excellent forum. I hope those who agree with me are!
Lastly, (this isn't a foot long yet 123!) - the latest is that people smugglers are now going to use regular fishing boats to TOW illegals in more rickety boats to Christmas Island. They feel that be using fishing boats and this towing subterfuge they can then be immune to our laws, and pretend to be rescuers. So what is Gillard doing - inflicting our troubles on (very) poor old East Timor. Who need this worry like a hole in the head.
When will Gillard be sacked? If she was a company CEO - she'd be well out the door by now - and most of her motley crew with her!
NO ONE could be worse at the job than this woman; or more disgustingly devious!
Funny, I read all the time about shareholders being picky and fussy about the relative quality of MANAGEMENT of the various companies they are investing in, and analyze their fiancnes to bits before investing their money. Yet, when it comes to MANAGEMENT of our country, many don't seem fussed at all about just WHO is running it, what their qualifications and performance are, and seem prepared to put up with any behaviour, no matter how irresponsible or outrageous! If the particular Company (read Country) starts going bad, they still aren't fussed, because they "like" the Managing Director. The fact that he/she might be milking the company and dudding the investors doesn't seem to worry them. Even if it is provable - and this CEO has lied! He/She is a "good bloke" - and, at the AGM, they'll vote them in again! No matter how bad the state of the books is.
Can never understand this double standard of inexplicable political allegiances and tolerance of incompetents and plotters regardless of the hard evidence.
