Opportunity cost is a legitimate term when dealing with economics, in particular micro economics. It is useful when dealing with investment decisions eg, on infrastructure, on management programs or on personnel and hindsight can be a performance guide.
It’s not appropriate to PTM, which was always just a gamble which profited from the good fortune of luck.
