I do not think it helps anyone with a bayonet in their hand fighting a foe or elsewhere and it fails to bring the country together and define the defences purpose and meaning

So when that person in defence said it was special to them it should not be.

A day special to all of us including the defence as part of us would be more special and meaning so they would not need to call us Sir, or Madam
