Firmly in the multi-bagger theme - Apple is currently market cap 2.6T USD. Share price 169 (down from 52week high 199). Notably P/E ratio 26.
The point here is that 'the market' can and does pay more per share than you would think is rational to do.
So - could a company that owns and produces the cure for most cancers get to a 800B USD valuation? At P/E of 26 they would need profit of a tick over 30B per annum. How big is the market for cancer treatment/cures....?
I know there are many many steps along the way - just throwing some more pump on the fire.
