The biggest joke is that all the silicon metal for the solar panel is produced using coal fired power. Its impossible to use wind or solar as silicon metal requires 14,000kWh to produce one tonne. No production is left in the EU as the cost of power is toooooo expensive.
In Sarawak Malaysia OM Holdings will start making silicon metal with power costs of US$0.033/kWh, compare thi to Australia at US$0.20/kWh.
The cost difference in power for one tonne of Si Met is US$2,238/tonne, stupid Albo doesn't realise this.
So every time people brag about their cheap solar power that the Government subsidized , you are doing considerable harm to the environment and you don't even know.
